Our first meeting for a while. Thank you to everyone who came along to join us. Many people brought craft work which they had been creating over the past year. Have a look at some of the work and how we kept our social distancing.
Christine also explained to everyone what we would be printing at our October meeting, with the intention that your printed pieces could then be made into little books, purses or book covers at our November meeting. We look forward to seeing you in October.
Sew Forth Update
Your Sew Forth group will be restarting ( if otherwise announced) on September 4th 2pm – 4pm in Gullane Large Village Hall.
We welcome you and any of your friends that may be interested to come along and join us.
We know that many of you may be anxious about coming to a group again but please be assured we will be making every effort to ensure your safety so you will be able to relax and meet likeminded craft friends again.
If you would like to bring any creative projects with you that you have discovered and have enjoyed creating during the last year and a half, we would love to see these which could inspire others.
We will also have on show samples of work from many of our past meetings which will give any new visitors a brief look into our past activities.
So that we are covering all aspects for your safe return we will be doing things slightly differently.
- As we comply with our Risk Assessment for the Village Hall you will not be able to enter the hall if you think you are suffering with any COVID 19 symptoms.
- Tables will be further spread out around the large hall, windows and doors will be open wherever possible.
- If you wish to bring your own refreshments and mug, that’s fine, but there will be refreshments provided to you at your tables using disposable cups if you require.
- We ask that masks are worn when entering the hall and moving around, but not necessary when seated.
- Your sign in sheet for the afternoon will now be the membership slips as this covers us for equipment use during our activities. If you do not wish to fill in a complete membership form on your first visit, it is a requirement that you add your contact details to the sign in sheet to comply with test and trace, and so we are able to contact everyone with further updates.
